Prior to each child leaving us for school, he or she will have had a wealth of learning experience.

In particular, our pre-school children are all taught to:

  • Put on and take off shoes and clothes
  • Brush teeth and hair
  • Use the toilet unattended
  • Know all shapes and colours
  • Become familiar with the letters and their sounds
  • Have a basic knowledge of numbers, addition and subtraction
  • Pencil control and the ability to write and recognise their own written name
  • Self discipline - site quietly for stories etc, to share, to follow and listen to simple instructions, to use cutlery and tidy up after themselves
  • Interact in conversation, group games, projects etc
